My name is Zemzem Amme, I'm a licensed clinical mental health counselor. I have been working in the mental health field for well over ten years, with both adults and adolescents aged 12 and older. My area of expertise are individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, anger issues, developmental transitions, trauma, and substance abuse. I have been trained from a psychodynamic perspective, where I find it useful to explore past experiences and ideas that stem from them, which we tend to hold onto. These ideas can have unknown effects and sorting through them has helped clients struggling with chronic depression and anxiety. However, if interested in something short term I do offer solution based therapy. My approach is through a client centered and multicultural lens. Allow me to help you flourish today.
