Yolandi Rause

Yolandi is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She earned a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a M.S. in Counselor Education from East Carolina University. Before coming to LifeCare, Yolandi worked in Wake County Public Schools counseling families and students from all walks of life. Yolandi approaches counseling from a person-centered and holistic approach. She finds joy in working with adolescents and young adults. Helping her clients understand themselves is key to having healthy relationships with not only themselves, but others too. Yolandi considers counseling as a collaborative journey, respecting that the client is the narrator of their own life. Her areas of experience include anxiety, depression, women’s issues, life adjustments, transitions, interpersonal and intrapersonal conflicts.
