True healing comes from both understanding your inner world and building practical skills to navigate life's challenges.

Starting over in a new place is brave—and it's also really hard. Whether you're navigating college pressures, adjusting to life in a new culture, or simply feeling like you're carrying too much on your own, you don't have to figure it all out by yourself. I'm a clinical social worker in Durham, North Carolina, and I genuinely love what I do. There's something powerful that happens when we finally understand why we feel the way we feel, and then learn how to ask for what we need. That's the journey we'll take together. Here's how I work: We'll go at your pace. Some days we might dig deep into family patterns or past experiences that still affect you today. Other days we'll focus on practical tools to manage anxiety before that big presentation or navigate a difficult conversation with your advisor. I've trained extensively in different approaches—from trauma therapy to relationship-focused work—because every person's story is different. What matters most is finding what works for you. I especially understand struggles with: That anxious feeling that won't go away Difficult memories from childhood that keep showing up Feeling stuck after major life changes That voice in your head saying "you're not good enough" Relationship drama (family, friends, dating—it's all complicated) Losing motivation when everything feels overwhelming Being way too hard on yourself
