Hi! Seattle Counseling and Wellness is a group practice made up of clinicians from all walks of life who are eager, excited, and skilled to work with you!

I view therapy as a constantly changing self-evolutionary process. Therapy invites individuals to uncover, rediscover, and embody their inner strength and resilience that may have been overlooked or silenced by adversities. I believe that every person holds the potential to heal and live a life anchored in worthiness and authenticity. Therapy is not only a path to alleviate distress but also a process of self-discovery, understanding, and personal growth. I am informed in multiple modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Polyvagal theory, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I tailor my approach to meet the client's needs and goals. As an international practitioner, I deeply understand how culture and social systems impact mental wellness. I integrate a lens to contextualize each client's experience within broader social, systemic, and cultural dynamics. I provide service in English and Chinese (Mandarin). I also speak Sichuan dialect and conversational Korean. I earned my master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on Counseling and Mental Health Services (M.S.Ed.) and Professional Counseling (M.Phil. Ed.). I obtained my bachelor's degree from the University of Washington with an Honors degree in Psychology and a minor in Asian Cultural Studies and Languages. My clinical and research work centers on delivering culturally responsive care to historically underserved communities. I strive to cultivate a therapy space to be a collaborative, individualized, non-judgmental, compassionate, strength-based, and empowering. I have experience working in intensive community programs, community mental health, and private practice with children, adolescents, and adults. I worked with people in the Asian, BIPOC, Neurodiverse, and LGBTQ+ communities.
