Wendy Francis

Working with children, adolescents, adults, and families since 1999, Wendy Francis provides comprehensive mental health therapy tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family unit. She focuses on helping the entire family improve its overall functioning by utilizing various family therapy techniques. Throughout her career, she has practiced in a wide range of clinical environments, including outpatient clinics, residential treatment centers, substance abuse rehabilitation programs, and children’s hospitals. She has also served as a crisis worker for multiple hospitals and worked within the youth probation and foster care systems. In her individual work, Wendy draws from a broad spectrum of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma-Focused CBT. She also incorporates specialized methods such as Child Directed Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Insight Oriented Therapy. Wendy is also experienced in programs dedicated to improving parenting skills. By prioritizing the development of a strong therapeutic relationship, she ensures a safe environment where clients can work toward better relationships, enhanced coping skills, and general improvement across various areas of life.
