We are a clinical practice with a diverse group of therapists, all of whom are LGBTQ+ competent and affirming.
We know that finding the right therapist is a vulnerable process. Even more so if you're a person of marginalized identities. If you're looking for a queer therapist, a trans therapist, a Black therapist, or a therapist of color - you've come to the right place. Having a diverse staff means that we can match you with someone who can relate to your lived experience. The central tenets of our approach are a deep and abiding affirmation of identity, a recognition of the role of trauma, and an attention to ruptures in attachment and development. We strive to provide long-term, psychodynamic, trauma informed mental health treatment that refuses to pathologize LGBTQ+ people, but rather recognizes the negative impact that societal marginalization has on the psyche.
