Psychologist
I am a bilingual psychologist who provides therapy and evaluations. I am flexible in my approach, and I offer in-person and virtual sessions.
It is my privilege to provide individual and family therapy, and evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. I work with people of all backgrounds and offer services in English and Spanish. I have experience working in outpatient, community mental health, and residential settings. I tend to take a trauma-informed approach to treatment, with a compassionate concern of what has happened to the individual and understanding the factors that have contributed to recent difficulties. I utilize a combination of treatment approaches including cognitive, interpersonal, humanistic, and behavioral interventions. I have extensive experience treating depressive and anxiety disorders, conflictual family relationships, trauma-related problems, crisis intervention, school issues, bullying, behavioral difficulties, social skills deficits and ADHD. I also conduct psychoeducational evaluations for the purposes of understanding challenges, to support intervention, and inform school accommodations. My work has a strong emphasis on diversity and culture, where I believe that it is important to consider these in the assessment process and when developing interventions.
