Twila Owens

I am looking forward to meeting you. I have been working as a mental health provider for over 17 years. I have always been a people person, and the one in my friend or family group who others sought advice, problem-solving, or encouragement. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, gardening, reading, and fitness living. My approach is mainly based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which promotes valued actions to build a rich and meaningful life. From this approach I often use mindfulness techniques, problem-solving, goal-setting, coping skills, inner-child work, energy work, and written expression. These are a few of the techniques I utilize when working with a client. I like to take the time needed to know you as a person not a diagnosis, and go from there. We journey together to find what works best for you and your circumstance.
