Tricia Wells
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I do not believe in a “cookie-cutter” method, and I am very open to exploring new methods and using multiple approaches to help each client individually.
As a clinician, I believe in meeting clients where they are, identifying their strengths and barriers, in order to assist in developing a personalized plan for treatment and life management. I do not believe in a “cookie-cutter” method, and I am very open to exploring new methods and using multiple approaches to help each client individually. I assist my clients with understanding their behavior patterns and the changes they want to make while in treatment. Being in therapy means some form of change. Change can be different from client to client because each client has unique needs. My goal is to assist you with whatever changes you are needing, even if that change is as simple as being able to open up about your experiences. As your therapist, I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my purpose is to assist and guide you in making empowered and informed decisions. I achieve this by providing validation, warmth, acceptance, and empathy, while also challenging you to implement the changes you want to make. I have experience working with a variety of individuals, families, and groups with diverse issues.
