Regardless of the approach or interventions, research shows that the therapist-client relationship is key to successful outcomes. A warm, empathetic, respectful, and non-judgmental relationship focused on your strengths will be the foundation of our work together. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Fort Hays State University. I am currently working towards my LCPC (Licensed clinical Professional Counselor) and working under the supervision of Michelle Fairbank, a counseling department instructor, private practice therapist, and an approved Supervisor by the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board. This means that I get the benefit of her expertise in consulting on cases. Client confidentiality is strictly maintained. I have Bachelor degrees in Elementary Education and Communication Studies from Washburn University. Previously, I’ve worked as a middle school teacher and for five years as a licensed school counselor for PK-high school seniors.
