I tailor the therapeutic process to create a safe setting to heal and facilitate growth through an exploration of emotions, experiences and relationships.

“Stuck.” This is a word that often comes up in therapy: feeling stuck with painful feelings, with past traumatic experiences, in unhealthy ways of coping, or in challenging relationship dynamics. When stuck with thoughts of the past or worries about the future, this gets in the way of living in the present. Especially as environments are often invalidating of emotional experiences, getting unstuck is about making room for what we've learned to avoid. Through a close and meaningful relationship, I am passionate about creating a safe environment in which we can get to the bottom of what is keeping you from the life you want to lead. I have worked with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relational challenges, and co-occurring substance use concerns. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which is an efficient and targeted trauma therapy that has had great success in treating trauma symptoms. Seeking help is a vulnerable and brave first step to healing. I would love to talk with you more about what therapy would look like and how we can work together to meet your goals. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
