My psychology practice specializes in the use of state-of-the-art, evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. My primary specialities include addiction medicine, anxiety, and mood disorders treatment, and trauma recovery. I also specialize in minority stress and health. I am involved in public policy and legislation, writing, lecturing, and training--all with the strong belief that community-based interventions are also part of treating the individual.
