Timothy O'Brien

With two decades of experience as a licensed mental health professional, Timothy O'Brien provides therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and adults. Throughout his career, he has facilitated healing through individual, group, couples, and family therapy. He spent eleven years as a family therapist for the Juvenile Drug Court Program in Clackamas County, gaining specialized expertise in substance abuse and parenting issues. In 2021, he published The Parent Empowerment Program and currently leads weekly parent groups alongside his clinical practice. His treatment approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family therapy, and couples counseling, with a strong focus on helping families navigate complex behavioral and relational challenges. Based in Vancouver, Washington, he is dedicated to helping his clients find growth and empowerment through evidence-based care.
