Tia Konzer
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychiatrist
I have a passion for helping athletes compete at their peak performance level by maximizing their mental game and overall health.
Hi, I’m Dr. Tia Konzer—a sport psychiatrist, mental performance coach, and advocate for high achievers navigating life on and off the field. I specialize in working with elite athletes, executives, and driven professionals who want more than just symptom relief—they want clarity, confidence, and control. Board Certified in Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, I’m licensed in NC, SC and IN and bring years of experience across medicine, athletics, and leadership. Whether you're navigating transitions, performance pressure, anxiety, or identity shifts, I meet you where you are—with a blend of therapy, coaching, and medical expertise. What sets my practice apart? I'm the only sport psychiatrist based in Charlotte, NC, and I’ve consulted for major leagues and organizations including serving as the psychiatric consultant for NASCAR. Additionally, as an independent clinician practicing as part of the MLBPA and USOPC Mental Health Directories. I work at the intersection of mind, body, and mission—helping you tune out noise, master your mindset, and stay grounded in who you are beyond titles or stats. This isn’t just psychiatry—it’s game-changing care.
