I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with training in the treatment of complex trauma. I offer a creative, integrative approach to psychotherapy!

Psychotherapy is my genuine passion. I view psychotherapy as a process to heal the wounds of the past, and build empowerment to create a meaningful existence in the present. If you are seeking to address the emotional wounds underlying your daily mental health difficulties, I wish to reward your bravery with a creative, empathic psychotherapy experience. As a long-time former staff member at the University of Illinois Counseling Center, and a current Adjunct Instructor at the School of Social Work, I am very familiar with the specific demands and stressors faced by University of Illinois students, both undergraduate and graduate. I offer an eclectic blend of psychotherapeutic approaches individually tailored to each client. My approach is always trauma-informed with the goals of maximizing your sense of safety, self-trust and empowerment. I often utilize EMDR and Internal Family Systems, along with a blend of CBT, psychodynamic, and existential approaches. My advanced training in a variety of trauma-focused techniques have helped many others seek healing when traditional talk therapy was not meeting their needs. Every aspect of my practice - Miebach Psychotherapy PLLC - is rooted in the principles of trauma-informed care, from start to finish. This means I am committed to transparency, accountability and consistency to ensure client safety and empowerment. Psychotherapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to be a creative partner in your healing journey.
