Placing college and university students (currently enrolled or or not) into treatment programs and tracks specifically for emerging adults, Acadia Healthcare’s Higher Education Resource Coordinator and Treatment Placement Specialists® (TPS) serve as liaisons to the post-secondary educational environment. We provide a link to care best meeting their individual mental and behavioral health needs. We work with families, students, on-campus care teams, and community partners. Without obligation to place a student in an Acadia program, we rigorously vet any treatment facility outside Acadia’s portfolio of programs. The goal and intent is to return the student to The University better positioned to succeed and graduate. We help merge the academic path with the road to well-being. Maintaining consistent contact with case managers or others responsible for student care, we are available when requested by phone, video, or in person on campus.
