37 years in practice

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, practicing in the Charlottesville area for over 30 years, having done my residency and post-doc at U.Va.

I was trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy and take an eclectic and interpersonal approach to the therapeutic process. I offer each client that I work with, an individualized therapy approach that works most effectively with their concerns, needs, and therapeutic goals. I view myself as a guide in the process, trusting that the client truly has the answers, although those answers might be masked and covered by painful, past situations and emotions.
