I use the Internal Family Systems model and view the counseling process as a partnership and an opportunity for you to learn more about yourself.

My approach to therapy uses Internal Family Systems, an insight-oriented therapy which is a powerful method for understanding conflict, trauma, defenses, and for promoting healing, change, self-empowerment and self-compassion. I utilize EMDR in my work as well to address trauma that happened long ago, as well as any recent trauma.
