I am a bilingual licensed clinical mental health counselor providing services that prioritize healing, representation, and community.

Hello, and welcome. I’m Teresa, a bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor dedicated to supporting individuals and families from immigrant and historically marginalized communities. With over a decade of experience, I specialize in working with women navigating depression, anxiety, intimate partner violence, and complex trauma. My approach to therapy is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in compassion. I believe healing happens in spaces where your lived experiences are honored and not minimized. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy while also incorporating culturally specific and decolonizing frameworks that recognize the social, systemic, and intergenerational factors impacting mental health. What makes my practice unique is my commitment to culturally grounded care. As a bilingual therapist, I understand the importance of language, identity, family, and community in the healing process. I center resilience, honor your strengths, and work alongside you to build pathways toward empowerment and sustainable well-being. Seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and empowering. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and supported as you move toward the life you envision for yourself. I look forward to walking alongside you in your healing journey.
