Comprehensive psychological testing to provide clarity, diagnostic insight, and personalized recommendations you can actually use.

I’m Dr. Taylor Orr, a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner of Desert Peak Psychology in St. George, Utah. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are looking for greater clarity, a better understanding of themselves, and practical next steps they can actually use. A large part of my practice focuses on comprehensive psychological testing and diagnostic clarification. I provide evaluations for concerns such as ADHD, autism, learning disorders, cognitive and executive functioning difficulties, mood and anxiety disorders, personality concerns, and other complex situations where the answer may not be obvious. I also work with individuals who have been given different diagnoses over the years and want a more complete understanding of what is actually going on. My approach to assessment is thorough, individualized, and practical. I do not believe a psychological evaluation should simply result in a diagnosis and a long report that gets filed away. One of the things I take the most pride in is the recommendations section of every report I write. I work hard to provide each person with a personalized, actionable, and realistic plan that can be implemented immediately. My goal is for you to leave the evaluation not only with answers, but with a much clearer idea of what to do next. I also provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults. My style is collaborative, straightforward, and tailored to the individual. I enjoy working with people who want to better understand their patterns, improve relationships, make important life or career decisions, manage anxiety or depression, work through difficult experiences, or simply feel less stuck. I tend to take an active role in therapy and am comfortable respectfully challenging thought patterns when doing so can help create meaningful change. What makes Desert Peak Psychology different is the emphasis on combining strong clinical assessment with practical application. Whether you are seeking testing, therapy, or both, my goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly and turn that understanding into meaningful, measurable changes in your daily life.
