Taylor Gaughan
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Asking for help is hard and I am here to help you feel safe and comfortable! My goal is to meet you where you are and help you to achieve your goals!
My name is Taylor and I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, relationship struggles, self esteem, suicidal ideation, and life changes. I work primarily with adolescents and young adults. I have experience working with adolescents experiencing truancy and school avoidance and working with them to develop skills to not only get back into the classroom but also to succeed when they get there. I am currently leading an IOP group with Renew counseling center to work with young people experiencing severe levels of anxiety and depression. I meet clients where they are and help achieve their goals. I use client centered, strengths based, systemic, CBT, ACT, and DNA-V based approaches. I believe that each clients needs are unique to them and being able to find a theory that meets the clients needs is crucial to success. I work with anxiety, school avoidance, social anxiety, severe depression, suicidal ideation/crisis, and family conflict. One of the hardest things to do in life is realize you are struggling and ask for help. I am here to make this process as easy as possible for clients and families.
