Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
My goal as a therapist is to help empower clients to face their struggles, to be able to live a life based on their values and help achieve their goals.
In my work as a counselor, I strive to promote change. I believe through the process of counseling change occurs internally and externally by developing healthy skills to promote positive change. My goal is to help empower clients to face their struggles and be able to live a life based on their values and what is most important to them. I have experience working with clients who face various struggles in the following areas: depression, anxiety, eating disorders, grief and loss, ADD, autism, anger management, family relationship difficulties and self-harm. I have over 12 years experience working with children, teens, families, and adults in outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization settings and at an eating disorder hospital at the inpatient and residential level of care. My counseling approach is heavily reliant on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I know choosing a therapist can be a difficult decision. Feel free to reach out in order to see if us working together would be a good fit. It would be my honor and pleasure to work alongside you in your journey towards change!
