OCD, ADHD & Trauma Therapy — LGBTQ+ Affirming, Virtual Care in Washington & Massachusetts

Before this became my specialty, it was personal. Someone close to me identifies within the LGBTQ+ community and lives with both OCD and ADHD, and watching what they navigated — and how hard it was to find a provider who actually understood all of it at once — is what pulled me toward this work. I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), licensed in Washington and Massachusetts, practicing since 2017. I specialize in OCD, ADHD, and trauma, and I'm an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). General therapy training covers a little of everything and a lot of nothing in particular. I wanted to go deep instead. For OCD and anxiety, I use ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) — the most evidence-backed approach available, working through the fear directly instead of talking around it, at a pace you help set. For trauma and identity work, I'm a Certified Lifespan Integration Therapist; some trauma responses live in the body more than in the story you tell about them, and this approach works with that directly, without requiring you to relive the event in detail. For ADHD, we build strategies around how your brain actually works — executive dysfunction, masking burnout, or a diagnosis that came later than you expected — not generic productivity advice. What makes this practice different is that all of it happens in a space where being LGBTQ+ is a given, not something you have to bring up first. You shouldn't have to choose between a therapist who's genuinely skilled in the right method and one who already gets who you are. We start with what's actually happening — the compulsion, the shutdown, the trauma response — not a generic intake checklist, and use the specific tool built for that problem. Sessions are virtual, for adults located in Washington or Massachusetts at the time of session. A free 15-minute consultation is available if you're not sure this is the right fit — I'd love to hear what you're carrying.
