Primary focuses include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus, Reality Therapy, and EMDR.

Working with adults, young adults, couples and families, with and without mental illness since 2007. Tanya work with adults, couples, and families from various demographics, including individuals with and without mental illnesses, substance abuse and addictions, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. She has a heart for people and a unique way of connecting with others that allows them to foster hope and dispel the negative effects of past experiences and thought patterns that have stifled their growth. One of her goals involves building environments for new providers to become equipped and educated to meet the needs of the populations served, and dismantling the belief that therapy is something that can only be done one way and is only for certain types of people. Tanya’s counseling approach is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing,) with a blend of Solution Focus, Reality Therapy, and Family Systems. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and desires to help people face challenges and succeed in meaningful ways.
