I’m Dr. Sven Schild, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience, specializing in trauma-informed care. My approach is client-centered, holistic, and evidence-based, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing (SE) to support healing and growth. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to each individual’s needs, helping clients navigate life’s challenges while fostering resilience and self-awareness. What makes my practice unique is my expertise in both cognitive and body-based therapies, allowing me to address the mind-body connection in healing trauma, anxiety, and other emotional difficulties. I am an EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant, as well as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), offering specialized support for deep emotional processing.
