Suzanne (Suzie) Compton
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Addressing the specific needs of the client is the primary purpose of my therapy sessions. I strive to provide a safe space for my clients.
I am available to see children, (5 and older),adolescents, adults, families and couples. Assessment might include focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, loss, and relationship health including marriage and parenting. My life experiences of long-term marriage, parenting, and the desire to assist in healthy relationships direct my therapy. My work with clients draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT), as well as Play Therapy, Sand Tray, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness-based work. I believe everyone has the capability to create their own desired change and that everyone could use a little help along the way to achieve that change.
