Stephanie (Steph) Vituccio
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Anti-oppressive, queer and trans affirming care centered in collaboration and curiosity
My approach to healing is rooted in the understanding that our experiences with systems of power and oppression and the space we have had to hold our pain can deeply impact our connection to self, the body, and community. I believe that each person is multi-dimensional, and that they already hold within them the capacity to heal and grow. My therapy style is highly relational, loving, intuitive and informed by the ongoing impacts of systemic trauma on our mental health. In the therapy room, I draw from my own intuition, lived experience, and the voices of ancestors, teachers, and colleagues that have built a foundation for relational work, parts work, somatics, ancestral healing practices, attachment, critical race, and queer theories. I strive to embody anti-oppressive and abolitionist values as a therapist and believe that healing happens in community, relationship and as a result of loving collaboration and care. Together, I will aim to help you unpack and unlearn carceral ways of thinking that lead to shame and contribute to unhelpful self belief systems. My hope is that through intention, pace, & mutuality, a path to collective healing, joy, and liberation can begin.
