I thrive in creating a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for you to process thoughts, emotions, and heal.

Life has gotten hard enough that you’re finally reaching out for support. You’ve been looking into counseling for awhile now and you know finding the right counselor is essential. You’ve skimmed a few therapists' profiles, but no one seems like the right fit, some even seem a little too perfect. How can you open up to someone about what’s going on when they appear to be so polished? Connection is important to you, and it's important to me too. My first goal as a therapist is to share in our humanness; our imperfections. I create unique, individual connections with my clients built on a foundation of good intentions, love, and understanding. We will work towards your healing through shared tears and shared laughter. I am not another stick in the mud therapist that will meet you with “hmmm” and “tell me how that feels”. As your therapist, I work to balance connection with a solid appreciation for understanding multiple perspectives. In other words, I will hold space for your hurt, while also challenging you to identify your unhelpful thoughts and behaviors when appropriate. I am trained to support you; truly hear you and see you, while also pushing you to achieve growth and healing. As a therapist and as a human, I keep things real. I am a proud spouse, mother, and dog mom. I am a multiracial woman of Panamanian descent. I am bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English. If you are also bilingual I would love to speak a little Spanglish with you.
