Therapy does not have to be difficult or unpleasant. Let me help you meet your goals and minimize historical barriers to living a full life.

Hi, I have been a licensed clinician since 2011 with a wide range of experiences from working with the homeless, victims of domestic violence, in a medical setting and both community and private mental health agencies. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and often use the basic principles of this treatment along with aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based Perspective and Motivational Interviewing. I address a person’s individual needs to match them to the type of treatment that would be most beneficial, or with which an individual most identifies. For me, therapy is a collaborative process where therapist and client work together to find the best tools and resources for that individual. I work to help people accept and cope with the difficult things in their lives they cannot change. And sometimes, to change things within ourselves, such as our own perceptions or negative assumptions about self or others. Because those beliefs, and related emotions, often manifest as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, lack of motivation and body image issues to name a few. These issues then get in the way of one’s happiness and success. Acceptance, balance, effective coping and self-determination are the main principles that help me guide someone through the therapy process.
