Stephanie Dockins
(She/Her/Hers)
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Community Resource, Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I offer virtual appointment in NV. My philosophy of practice is grounded in respect, empathy, and the belief that every person has the capacity for growth
I bring over two decades of dedicated experience in healthcare, as a dual-board certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My progression into psychiatric mental health developed through a lifelong calling to serve, uplift, and advocate for others. I have always been drawn to understanding the deeper experiences of people, their struggles, their strengths, and the stories that shape who they are. This passion led me into nursing, and ultimately into advanced psychiatric practice where I could make a meaningful impact on individuals, families, and communities. Through my training and professional journey, I have learned that healing is most effective when approached with humility, patience, and genuine human connection. Along the way, I have gained important insights: that small steps forward are still progress; that validation and hope can be as powerful as medication; and that healing requires partnership, not direction. My work is guided by the values of compassion, integrity, and service principles that continue to shape the way I care for those entrusted to me. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered. I integrate evidence-based interventions with a holistic view of wellness, considering the emotional, spiritual, and practical dimensions of each person’s life.
