I am a UW Madison graduate who has been providing compassionate and affirming care to college students and adults of all ages for over 25 years.
Hello! Finding a good fit with your therapist is extremely important so here is a little bit of information about me. I am a licensed psychologist who graduated from UW Madison with a PhD in counseling psychology. I have been in private practice for 10 years but working in the field of counseling for over 25 in various settings. I specialize in working with young adults. I did my predoctoral internship at The Ohio State University's counseling center and did my postdoctoral training at UW Madison's University Health Services so I understand the stressors of students. I help clients with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, identity concerns, family of origin issues and transitions. I am integrative but am grounded in attachment theory. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR. I strive to create a warm, welcoming and collaborative environment where clients and I work together to reach their goals. I offer in person session in my office on the west side of Madison or telehealth. I'd love to schedule a free 15 minute telehealth call with you to answer your questions and see if we're a good fit.
