Sonya Jayaratna

I am a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with expertise in treating children, adolescents, and young adults. I earned my MD from Indiana University and completed residency training in the University of Kentucky's five-year Triple Board Program, which included Pediatrics, Adult Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I am board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I currently accept patients ages 5 through 35 and have a particular interest and expertise in treating anxiety-related conditions, including, but not limited to, generalized anxiety, separation anxiety, panic disorder, and OCD. Additionally, I have extensive training and experience in treating a wide range of other psychiatric diagnoses. I am passionate about providing holistic care and recognize the critical connection between physical and mental wellness.
