I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds in my practice.
I have been practicing for twenty five years in a variety of treatment settings from community mental health, to schools, to my current private practice. I was born in England, and grew up mostly on the East coast of the US in Connecticut. I attended Wesleyan University as an undergraduate, studying literature and music, and attended the University of Washington for graduate school. I am an adjunct professor at the UW School of Social Work and enjoy my dual role as a therapist and trainer of new therapists. I work with clients of all ages. I approach treatment from a strengths perspective, use evidence based strategies, and will collaborate with you to set goals to meet your individual needs. Clients of all backgrounds and identities are welcome in my practice.
