Shon'tell LaRochelle
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I am a lesbian woman, and love working with folx for late-diagnosis ADHD and Autism. Poly, gender expansive, and questioning all welcome here too :)
Hi! I’m Shon’tell and here to support your next steps to mental wellbeing. I provide mental health diagnosis, treatment and medication management for adults, and children. Growing up at a time when LGBTQIA+ people were hidden, I want to provide you with a different experience. I create a safe place where you can see me as both a lesbian woman and a well-educated, empathetic healthcare provider. My approach to care is holistic and collaborative. While you may not know precisely what is causing your mental health concerns, I firmly believe in empowering you to make informed decision, especially the role and impact medications play in mental health recovery. As well as care for adults, I have experience working with children, teens, young adults, and their families. I provide psychiatric diagnosis, with treatment plans that often combine psychotherapy, medication management and alternative treatment options such as Long-Acting Injectables, Spravato and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
