SHIBINSKY PAYNE

SHIBINSKY PAYNE, LCSW, is licensed in New York and brings over two decades of experience in trauma and intimate partner violence. She earned a Master’s in Social Work from Long Island University and serves as Director of the Kings County District Attorney’s Victim Services Unit in Brooklyn, where she and her team provide support, advocacy, and information to people who have been criminally victimized. Her collaborative work with prosecutors helps sustain safety and informed engagement for survivors. She works with teens, young adults, adults, and seniors. Her specialties include grief and loss, PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic, and anger. She also addresses OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, chronic illness and pain, and physical stress. Areas of focus include gender and sexual identity, sexual concerns, and abuse. She supports those facing relationship violence, stalking, and harassment, as well as family relationships, caregiving stress, and racial or cultural oppression or trauma. She offers telehealth sessions.
