Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Welcome! I provide client-centered, solution-focused counseling to support your journey toward healing and growth.
My goal is to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence so you can return to living fully. I blend empathy, creativity, and practical strategies to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. I hold a Master’s Degree in Community and Addiction Counseling from The College of William & Mary, with additional training in family counseling, art therapy, spirituality counseling, play therapy, and motivational interviewing. Over the years, I’ve worked in psychiatric care, schools, trauma centers, domestic violence shelters, substance use treatment centers, and general counseling agencies. These experiences allow me to adapt flexibly to each client’s unique needs and goals. Our first session together will be a time for us to connect and for me to listen closely to your concerns. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, discuss confidentiality and safety planning, and go over any Telehealth details if needed. Together, we’ll start to untangle challenges and build a personalized path forward that highlights your strengths, creativity, and preferences. I take a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the connection between mind, body, and spirit. At times, we may explore how lifestyle factors like nutrition or movement support emotional well-being. I also enjoy using creative approaches such as art journaling and guided imagery, which many clients find meaningful for self-expression. Above all, I focus on listening deeply and helping you connect with your own resilience and inner wisdom. I specialize in working with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, women’s issues, parenting struggles, or goal-setting concerns. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by worry, frustration, or self-doubt. My goal is to provide a safe, encouraging space where you can process these feelings, build healthier coping strategies, and move toward resilience, balance, and greater self-confidence.
