Sheila (Shay) Maglaris

Hello! My name is Shay and I am a psychotherapist in Austin. I offer free 30 minute in person consultations so you can see if I could be a good fit for your needs. I am passionate about helping people with anxiety, depression, trauma and self esteem issues. I help people through relationship, life, and career issues. My approach is to help you connect to your body and emotions in a way that helps you know yourself more deeply and feel more confident in your decisions. Using these methods, we can help pull you out of depression and anxiety spirals so you can feel greater peace and achieve a better understanding of your feelings. I use a variety of techniques from Interpersonal Neurobiology, Internal Family Systems, Emotional Transformative Therapy, Attachment Theory, EMDR and Somatic Experiencing.
