I welcome and affirm clients of all identities and backgrounds in my practice.

Although my approach to counseling draws from a variety of therapeutic models and techniques, all are rooted in the fundamental principles of acceptance, authenticity and experience. My style is active, both in and outside of sessions, as I regularly seek ongoing training to increase my knowledge and skill level as a clinician. My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help you develop knowledge and tools that will facilitate sustained growth long after therapy has ended. Inclusiveness and cultural competency are strongly held values in my practice. All are welcome, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender expression or sexual orientation. When I'm not in the office, I can likely be found on the greenbelt or with family and friends--and I'm a voracious consumer of theater, film, and other arts.
