Shanae Benito

Shanae Benito is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor based in Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is an active member of the Chi Sigma Iota international academic honor society. Shanae specializes in supporting adolescents, couples, and individuals, with a particular focus on serving minority men and women. Her clinical expertise covers a broad range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, stress, and mood disorders. Dedicated to community well-being, Shanae is the founder of the Shanae Benito Foundation Inc. (SB Wellness Foundation), a non-profit organization that provides underserved communities with programs and resources to improve mental and physical health while tackling systemic biases. She also directs the Leader of Tomorrow Initiative, which partners with HBCUs and BIPOC schools to provide mental health education and reduce stigma among young adults. In addition to her therapeutic work, Shanae is a choreographer and dancer who uses dance workshops to encourage body positivity and self-esteem. As a mother, she values the importance of family and personal growth, and she is committed to supporting every client on their individual path toward mental wellness and fulfillment.
