As a psychologist with extensive clinical experiences - my hope is to provide you the service I would want for my own friends and family!

After 15 years of working at Butler University's counseling center I made the difficult decision to leave and pursue full-time private practice. I loved working as a generalist with young adults on all types of presenting concerns, such as perfectionism, identity, relationship concerns, eating/body concerns, stress, and anxiety/depression. As a generalist I continue to work with adults of all ages. My love is to help individuals clarify their values, understand relationship dynamics, and gain insight into how their early experiences in childhood impact their present view of themselves and the world. As your therapist, you can expect a partnership where we are both active and engaged. Our conversation will begin with getting to know your history, identities, struggles and strengths. Therapy begins as you are able to trust and honestly share your thoughts and feelings to facilitate new insights and self-awareness. New insights provide a direction for needed changes and symptom reduction. As an affirming therapist, I offer a genuine, accepting, listening ear and truly value understanding my clients' experiences.

    Brainspotting

Intervention using eye placement to release trauma "stuck" in the brain. Trauma is processed differently than other experiences and is often non-verbal, therefore talk therapy is not always able to access it as effectively.
