I am a licensed professional counselor in VA. I identify as a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color) clinician. My private practice is dedicated to working with minority and cultural-related stressors, gender-based violence and issues related to trauma, anxiety, and depression. I believe therapy is a safe place to explore, process and develop your best self. I have a M.A.Ed. in Counseling graduating from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. My specialty is in working with children, adolescents and adults. I am passionate about helping individuals of varying ages achieve peace in every situation, gaining insight and emotional wellness. My skill set involves a variety of techniques and modalities such as bibliotherapy, creative arts work, mindfulness and person-centered therapy. I specialize in working with children, teens and adults.
