Shalandra Hollins
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Creating safer spaces for clients, and providing affirming and culturally sensitive care is of the utmost importance to me.
Shalandra utilizes a systemic approach to address mental health concerns. What does that mean? We all have experiences that shape our worldview (how we see things, how we navigate life, our beliefs, our values, etc). She loves helping clients make connections that help them to lead richer, fuller lives. As a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, Shalandra provides premarital and couples counseling, working with couples to navigate challenges and difficulties. She has a passion for working with young adults, women and families impacted by divorce/separation, and individuals navigating the challenges of single parenting, dating and relationships. As a trauma focused therapist, Shalandra utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients recover from trauma and other life distressing experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic disorders, issues surrounding self-worth and self-esteem, culture-specific trauma, and racial fatigue. Shalandra's goal is to provide a safe space that is affirming, warm, and comforting. She would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
