Compassionate, evidence-based therapy for depression, anxiety, addiction, and life changes. I warmly welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities.

With 15+ years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist, I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, life transitions, and adjustment to chronic health conditions. I have experience providing individual and group therapy across a variety of settings, including major institutions like the Stanford Department of Psychiatry and UCSF Alliance Health Project. My focus is on creating a strong, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and unconditional acceptance. I incorporate evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). While I prioritize scientifically proven treatments, I remain focused on the importance of empathy, validation, and openness. My experience also includes over a decade of work in the Addiction Treatment Center at the Seattle VA Hospital. While I can certainly support individuals seeking abstinence, my approach is flexible and accommodates goals focused on moderation and exploring change in patterns of substance use or addictive behaviors to improve quality of life.
