Sasha Bravo

Sasha Bravo completed her MSN at East Tennessee State University and her BSN at Western Carolina University. She was awarded an “Outstanding ABSN Student” award when she graduated from Western Carolina’s accelerated Bachelors Degree in Nursing program in 2012. She also has a second bachelor’s degree in psychology from UNC-Asheville, where she graduated summa cum laude. Previously, Sasha worked as a psychiatric-mental health RN at UNC Healthcare in Chapel Hill and Mission Hospital in Asheville, where she gained experience working with patients with severe and persistent mental health issues. Sasha works with people of all backgrounds to help them overcome problems through medication, natural treatments, and brief supportive therapy. She utilizes a patient-centered approach to help patients achieve their goals for wellness and recovery. While Sasha treats patients with varying diagnoses, she is particularly passionate about women’s health as well as bipolar spectrum illnesses. Her favorite quote regarding mental health comes from author John Green: “There is hope even when your brain tells you there isn’t.”
