It never ceases to amaze me how beautifully unique we all are, and at the most fundamental level, how much we have in common. We all strive for belonging and accomplishment, to be seen and heard. We all have the capacity to fully engage with this human experience: the highs and the lows and everything in between. To decide that you would like counseling, does not imply that you are "sick" or "abnormal." It implies that you are aware. You are aware that you want more, aware that there is a potential wanting to be fulfilled, or aware of a hurt that wants to heal. No matter the concern I will partner with you as we collaborate on the goals you decide to work on. My focus is to create a trusted, safe space for you to have the freedom to explore what matters to you most. I listen with compassion, reflect your strengths and resilience, and help remove obstacles blocking your own wisdom. Ultimately, my goal is for you to become your own counselor. I won't stay hidden behind a cloak of counseling mystery. I share what I know, and can teach you the skills that you need to not only manage life in the present but for years to come.
