Walking with you through trauma, stress, and stuck spots toward healing, connection, and hope. EMDR trained with additional training for First Responders.

Hi, I’m Sarah, and I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker born and raised here in Topeka. I specialize in helping people who feel overwhelmed by trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, suicidal thoughts, complex PTSD, adult ADHD, relationship struggles, or that “stuck” place where life just feels too heavy. If you’re in one of those seasons, you don’t have to walk it alone. My own path has been shaped by experiences with deep personal and relational stress and loss, including suicide, overdose, cancer, chronic illness, and financial hardship. I know how isolating it feels when hope seems out of reach, and I also know how powerful it can be when someone comes alongside you with compassion, steady, qualified support, and, when appropriate, even some humor. In our work together, I’ll meet you where you are and honor your pace. I’m trained in S.A.F.E. EMDR, EMDR for First Responders, and the CAMS protocol, and I draw from multiple therapies, including CBT, IFS, Narrative Therapy, Choice Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Attachment Theory. What that really means is this: I promise to listen closely to you, and together we’ll find the approaches that fit you. Whether you’re carrying long-standing wounds or navigating today’s stress, my goal is to walk with you toward healing, connection, and hope. I look so forward to meeting you.
