Using a warm, tailored approach, I help individuals overcome issues like depression, anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders, and trauma.

I use a warm, integrative approach to help change behaviors and identify patterns that prevent you from living the way you want. We might start by targeting your day-to-day challenges, exploring the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to open a path to change. The next step is often to work backwards, seeking insight and acceptance of past experiences that can impact our adult lives in ways we do not recognize. My clients struggle with a wide range of issues like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and self-criticism, perfectionism, issues with food and body image, and unsatisfying relationships. Having worked at Georgetown University's student counseling center for several years, I have particular expertise in working with students and young adults. Using my extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapies (e.g. CBT, DBT, ACT) and psychodynamic techniques, I will work with you to develop personalized strategies for realistic, positive change—even after the conclusion of therapy. Most people benefit from a combination of these approaches, but every client is different! I invite you to reach out to me for a complimentary, 10-15 phone consultation to determine whether I am the best fit for your needs and goals. I look forward to hearing from you!
