Sarah Cherwien Hoel
(She/Her/Hers)
Certified Trauma Professional, Counselor, Psychologist, Psychotherapist
People often hold their pain inside, fearing they will be a burden to others. I can help by providing a space in which you can express yourself freely.
Welcome! Finding a therapist can be a grueling process. You want someone who will sit with you, understand you, help you feel better, call out unhelpful things you are doing in your relationships, and make a joke or two when needed. I am here to help. In my experience, opening up emotionally to access the core of pain is where lasting, transformative change takes place. Thus, I am committed to providing an environment in which you feel free to express your feelings, no matter how difficult, in order to lead a fuller, richer life. I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with depression, relationship concerns, and recovery from trauma. I work with a lot of college students in my practice and currently teach as an adjunct faculty at the University of St. Thomas.
