People don’t come to therapy with their problems, but with their solutions - solutions we’ve created to survive, push through, protect, avoid, or heal that aren’t working for us any longer. You are the expert of your experience; my hope is to walk alongside you and provide insight, empathy, and strategies to support you on your journey. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a BA in Theatre Arts and an MA in Counseling, providing individual therapy for adults and older adolescents. I specialize in working through trauma (primarily connected to sexual abuse/assault and/or relationship violence), anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ identity development, self-worth, and life transitions. Having experience in both client and therapist roles, I recognize the vulnerability and courage it takes to open up and do this work-the fact that you’re reading through bios and thinking about taking a step toward therapy is pretty tremendous.
