Sara Megeed

I have experience supporting individuals in inpatient, residential, outpatient, and community-based settings, and my hope is to meet every client where they are and provide them with the support and resources they need to move in the direction of a meaningful life. I have specialized training in depth-oriented models, such as the NeuroAffective Relational Model, which supports healing through relational presence and curiosity, slowing down to build awareness of patterns, and reinforcing shifts in the present moment. I am additionally trained in the Trauma Resiliency Model, which supports clients to build tools that help calm their nervous systems and create more resiliency to stress. My approach differs based on each individual client and their needs, and I incorporate other approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Exposure with Response Prevention as needed.
